Ferro silicon Description
Ferro silicon alloy is a kind of ferro alloy which composed of iron and silicon . Ferrosilicon is a silicon alloy made by smelting iron in an electric furnace with coke, scrap steel, and quartz (or silicon dioxide) as raw materials. Silicon and Oxygen have a strong affinity.meanwhile low carbon content in high silicon ferrosilicon. Therefore, high - silicon ferrosilicon (or silicon alloy) is a reducing agent commonly used in the production of low-carbon ferroalloys in the ferroalloy industry.

Ferro silicon Application
Used as deoxidizer in the steel industry. In order to guarantee the quality of steel, Adding suitable amount of fesi in the steel, can significantly improve the strength, hardness and elasticity of steel .
